Using Lumen

Lumen helps you, your family and friends memorize the Bible. It is free, has no ads and has nothing to buy. Oil and the shop are earned by practicing, never bought.

Use it kindly. Comments, cheers and nudges are for encouraging each other.

Be kind

There is no place in Lumen for unkind, hateful, sexual or otherwise objectionable content, or for people who bully or abuse others. Words like that are stopped before they post.

If you see something wrong, tap the "..." on the post or comment to Report it or hide that person's posts. On the profile of someone outside your groups you can Report or Block them. A group's owner can delete posts and remove people.

We look at every report within 24 hours. We remove content that breaks these terms, and we remove people who post it.

Your account

Keep your email up to date so you can sign back in. You can delete your account any time from Settings, and that removes your progress.

Children should use the app with a parent in one of their groups.

Scripture

Verse text is the Berean Standard Bible (BSB), which its publishers have placed in the public domain.

Verses are read by Bob Souer, from his recording of the BSB. Where a verse has no recording yet, your phone's own voice reads it.

We work to keep the app running and your progress safe, but it is provided as it is, and features can change. If something goes wrong, tell us through Help & feedback.
